Who we work with

Fifteen United Nations Offices, Agencies, Funds, Governments, International NGOs and Other Entities call on RedR Australia to supply skilled personnel during global emergencies. By providing temporary surge capacity support, we help to boost their international response capacity. We also provide personnel to support their efforts in affecting disaster risk reduction, emergency preparedness, recovery and stabilisation activities in disaster-prone countries.

As the only United Nations (UN) Standby Partner in the Asia-Pacific and southern hemisphere, RedR Australia is well prepared to provide the valuable, sought after skills needed to build resilience, relieve suffering and strengthen our partners.

Where we work

Every year from our roster of more than 1000 professionals, we deploy more than 100 experts to over 30 countries around the world.

Assessment and vetting

Roster applicants are thoroughly assessed, screened and pre-vetted prior to joining the RedR Australia roster. All of our roster members have at least five years of technical experience, with most members averaging 10 – 15 years’ experience. Additionally, they have all worked in global emergency response contexts and are flexible, resilient and have strong emotional intelligence to respond to diverse crises. 

We have a zero-tolerance policy on misconduct and sexual exploitation, abuse and harassment and all our specialists are thoroughly screened and vetted to industry best standard.
