RedR Australia currently has a pool of 700 humanitarian and development professionals on its roster.
The process to join RedR Australia’s roster is extremely thorough, including a telephone interview, reference checks, completion of 10 days of observed training and a final face to face panel interview. We require a minimum of five years experience in a technical specialty with at least 12 months of this experience to be in a developing country or humanitarian response setting.
Our selection process allows RedR’s experienced recruitment and HR professionals to assess the applicant's technical fit and behavioural attributes, measured against the Core Humanitarian Competencies Framework.
Our Roster Personnel are truly on “standby”. They have provided all required predeparture documentation and undertaken a full background check, in compliance with our Child Protection Policy. This ensures that, upon selection, our personnel can mobilise with as little as 72 hours notice.
