Myanmar Crisis Appeal
Rohingya refugees fleeing violence in Myanmar’s Rakhine state desperately need your help.
Hungry and Homeless
Since August 25th, more than 430,000 people have crossed into Bangladesh and most of them are women and children. Hungry, homeless and facing torrential downpours from Monsoons, that have left one third of Bangladesh under water, the refugees are establishing makeshift camps.
Many of our United Nations partners including the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), the World Food Programme (WFP) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) are urgently seeking RedR Australia’s surge support to respond to the Myanmar Crisis.
Food, Water and Shelter
We are now appealing for public support to help us send humanitarian experts who will ensure the refugees get food, water and shelter and that the most vulnerable are protected. Shelters and latrines need to be built, food and water distributed and public health prioritised as this massive displacement of people becomes a large scale humanitarian crisis.
You Can Help
You can help us bring humanitarian aid to these people. Please Donate Now, every dollar helps.

Where Will the Money Go?
All donations will be used to deploy humanitarians to support the relief and recovery effort. Our technical experts are highly sought after to coordinate relief efforts and ensure refugees get their basic needs met including food, water and shelter.
If funds raised exceed the amount needed for this appeal, they will be used to support RedR Australia deployments to other international emergencies.
100% of donations raised will be spent on the international emergency response.
