January 2017 - A Filipino emergency responder visited our office in Carlton this week to thank RedR for the Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) training he did in 2011 that has enabled him to save lives and secure humanitarian aid for thousands of disaster-affected Filipinos over the past five years.

Australian Humanitarians Prepare to Deploy to Iraq

October 2016 - As the Government of Iraq prepares to launch a major offensive on the city of Mosul, the humanitarian community is preparing to respond to the imminent displacement of 1.35 million people expected to flee the city and areas in the southern corridor. We are sending a logistics expert to the northern Iraqi city of Erbil tonight to support the humanitarian effort and will deploy another two women next week.
